Dear Foundation,
Please find attached our planning for this week. You might find this useful if your child is self-isolating at home.
| PSHE | This week, children will discuss different cultures. |
| Literacy | The children will continue to innovate the story of Hungry Caterpillar. They will finsih recording this in their own zigzag book. Children will also get an opportunity to share their story with the rest of the class. |
| Maths | This week the children will practise identifying the value of 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and 20p coins by counting out the correct number of 1p coins. |
| Phonics | The children will all have a one to one reading session with their teacher. In phonics the children will be recapping set 2 and 3 sounds. They will practise applying their knowledge by writing a sentence. |
Expressive arts
Understanding The world | This week the children will use our TASC sheet to design a new food for the Hungry Caterpillar to eat. The children will be able to choose the media they would like to use to make their food.
