Hello Rabbits!

I hope you are well and you have been having a lovely time at home. I have put lots of information for you all on the Foundation Stage blog, but this is a quick chance for me to say hello to the Rabbits and let you know what I've been doing.

We went for a walk and saw lots and lots of these yellow plants in a field. They're called Broom. They were COVERED with bees! We could hear the whole field buzzing. It was amazing. I tried to photograph them but the were very quick! The trees are starting to have new greeen leaves on them and I love the way they cross over each other and make a darker green. They look amazing against the blue of the sky.

My tulips have come out in my garden planter and my Bhudda statue is surrounded with Forget me Nots.

and my Magnolia tree is flowering. It looks like the base of the flowers have been painted!

My cat Dart has been practising relaxing (he's very good at it), and doing some funny things.

He even went to sleep on my sewing machine! Very helpful Dart, thank you!

When I was tidying up, Dart decided to sit in a pile of TWO boxes! It's only just big enough for him to sit on - he can't be that comfy!

He likes making nests in the grass where its cool.

Experiment time: Why do you think Dart gets so hot in the sun?

Put your hand on something black that the sun has shone on. What do you notice?

Put your hand on something white that has been in the sun. Does it feel the same? If not, what is different?

What do you think now about Dart when he's in the sunshine? How do you think he feels when the sun shines on him?

We watched the sun go down and there was an amazing sunset. There is also a really bright star. Do you know it's name? Can you find out?

I have been making lots of scrubs for the doctors and nurses. I have got lots of friends sewing and we have now made 63 sets of scrubs that are being delivered to the Children's Hospital today! We need to make 100 sets with scrub bags and hats for them by Friday! How many more do I need to make? Can you help me to work it out and email me the answer?

I have already deliverd 20 sets to nurses and doctors. They gave me a present!

How kind!!

I will blog again next Monday. Keep safe and look after your families. Give them lots of hugs.

I miss you, mighty mighty Rabbits!

Love from Mrs F xx
