Class: Mice Year: 2019 - 2020

Hello Everyone!

We are so glad to be able to update the website again - we missed you!

We hope that you have had a great Easter and you havee been able to enjoy the sunshine.

We have had lots of photos and emails from children that I'm just going to post them here so you can see them.

Firstly, Patrick from the Rabbits class has been doing the most amazing thing!

He is raising money for The Children's Hospital by running, skipping and walking every day! This is his message here:

I am doing this challenge so that the hospital can buy things to make all children feel better so that they can go home healthy and HAPPY.

I am going to run/walk/skip and hop for 2km every morning for the next 30 days. My mummy and my little sister are doing this challenge with me. I hope that by the end of this challenge I can run the 2km in one go.

Please donate for this amazing cause (note from my mummy).

Thank you.

Well done Patrick! What an amazing thing! Here is his justgiving page if you would like to donate to his appeal. If you see him going past your house, you could cheer him on (from a safe distance!) and support him!

We have also had some photos from Hrishi and Arman who have been working hard at home, and also having fun:

What amazing writing! We can read it because they have worked hard to hear all the sounds in the words they want to write! Keep going boys!

They have also been having fun doing other things - here are their photos:

They seem to be having a great time! Hrishi made a toy shop den, and Arman did some Easter baking.

We have been having a go at making bread.

Yummy!

Mrs Featherstone has been sewing scrubs for the NHS with her team of scrub sewers! Scrubs are like pyjamas that doctors and nurses wear when they are in hospital. They are very comfy so that the staff can work hard and not get their clothes dirty.

She has made lots of sets of tops and bottoms, and caps, and bags and this weeek over 100 sets of scrubs will be delivered to the Children's Hostpital! All of these have been organised by Mrs Featherstone and sewn by her and her team. 63 sets are going to be delivered today! Mrs Featherstone is very tired!

This is Mrs Featherstone's cat Dart asleep on her sewing machine! Thanks Dart! Very helpful!

Mrs Chaudhry is going to post some more fun activities for you to do - she always plans such lovely activities that help you learn by doing something fun.

We are posting today some literacy and maths sheets that can help you to practise your sitting down work writing and practising your number skills. Some of them are games too!

Don't forget to read your books!

Have a great week!
