Important information about EllaCycle

We’re writing to remind you about the upcoming closure of the EllaCycle programme on 1st April 2022. First, however, we want to start by saying a huge thank you for participating in the programme. Thanks to you, over 5 million baby food pouches, kids yogurt pouches, pouch caps and Ella’s Kitchen® snack packets have been saved from landfill. What's more, together you've raised over £80,000 for charity!

When Ella's Kitchen® launched the programme 12 years ago it was to provide a nationwide recycling programme for all baby and children's food pouches. However, recently supermarkets all across the country have now set up Front of Store collection points for flexible plastics like baby food pouches.

Therefore, with careful consideration, Ella's Kitchen® has decided to close the EllaCycle programme (The Kids Food Pouch Programme will also close as a result). Don’t forget - the good news is that you can now drop off your food pouches at a local participating supermarket. Simply visit the RecycleNow website and search for your postcode to find your nearest one.

Remember, the programme will be officially closing on 1st April 2022. So make sure you send us your final parcels of food pouches by this date.

We cannot thank you enough for your commitment and dedication to EllaCycle over the past 12 years. Together we have sparked meaningful conversations and made incredible progress in the world of recycling. Check out our other free recycling programmes to continue to recycle with us and raise funds for the charities you care about.

If you have any questions about this closure, please reach out to our Customer Support Team at customersupport@terracycle.co.uk.

Once again, thank you for helping us to eliminate the idea of waste,

The TerraCycle Team
