In the last week of term, we will be making our own boats inspired by the Titanic in our design and technology lessons.  We will be focusing on ensuring that our boats are strong and stable. 

In Science we have been investigating materials to make sure our boats are strong, rigid and water proof. This week we are researching different types of boats, thought about what features we would need to include for a boat and designing our own.

For the last week please bring in some materials that you would like to use for the structure of the boat, e.g. plastic bottles, plastic tubs, cardboard boxes, and any additional decorations that you wish to use. We will be providing craft resources: paint, paper, card, lollipop sticks, match sticks.
