Alice MacGowan - Chair Governors

Co-opted Governor (May 2020 - May 2024)

I am the parent of a former DIS pupil (my daughter now attends Dobcroft Junior School). I was delighted with her experiences of the first 3 years of school life, and I hope that I can contribute something back to the school through my role as a Governor. In my professional life, I work with the University of Nottingham, supporting its spin-out companies in the healthcare sector. Much of the focus is on securing investment for early-stage companies and working with management teams at Board level to help shape business plans and financial forecasts.

Cathy Rowland - Headteacher

I have been the Head at Dobcroft Infant School since September 2004 having previously been the Head at Broomhill for 4 years. I have been a Governor since 1993 first as a teacher representative and then in a Headteacher role in particular looking at the value of Early Years.

As a Governor, I want to drive through strategies for school's priorities including our new role as a Teaching School supporting other schools.

Zoe Singh - Deputy Headteacher
