Finance and penuciary interests
Penuciary Interests
The governing body has established a register of penuciary interests for staff and governors which is open to inspection. Governors and staff should declare any links they have with local firms from which the school may wish to buy goods or services. It is important for anyone involved in spending public money to demonstrate that they do not benefit personally from decisions that they make.
As a result, a standing agenda item exists on all committee meetings to give people the opportunity to declare any pecuniary interests and a form is completed and registered once per year.
