DOBCROFT INFANT SCHOOL

Competitions

As a school we want to promote children's opportunities to participate in competitive sport both within and outside of school.

This page will celebrate all the successes that Dobcroft Infant School has with sport and PE.  We will feature information on how we have got on at competitions within our own school and with other schools.

If your children participates in any competitions outside of school please let Miss Sutherland or Mrs Rowland know, and she will happily share their achievements either within assesmblies, on our website or on our celebrations board in school.

2019/20

KS1 Sportshall Athletics Competition - 30 year 1 children competed at Ponds Forge against Mudella School.  We had to complete a range of atheletics skills like relay racing, long jump and speed bouncing.  We loved it!  Well done to the Foxes in Blue Team 1 who got the best score from our school.

2018/19

KS1 atheltics competition - 15 children from year 1 participated in a range of athletics activities and tried their best.  We came fourth in the competition and loved every second.

Points Network Games - all of year 2 competed in the annual Points Network Games at EIS.  We really loved the big running track and were really proud that we came 2nd.

2017 / 18

KS1 Football Competition - on Wedneday 29th November 2017 10 year 2's headed over to a very chilly Concord Sports Centre to compete in the Points Network KS1 football competition.  They worked incredibly well as a team winning their first heat. Unfortunately, we did not win the competition overall but we had lots of fun, and enjoyed this opportunity to compete against other schools.

Points Network Games - Year 2 all competed in the annual Points Network Games at EIS.  We won the competition and were really excited.

Well done Dobcroft, we are proud of you.
