Welcome New starters 2023-2024!

We are excited to welcome all of the children to their new classes for our stay and play sessions over the next few weeks. If your child is a Ladybird and already in our pre-school, they will be visiting their new classes as part of our whole school transition sessions. Please keep visiting this page over the summer, as I will be putting information on the 'Tadpoles' page until your child starts with us in September 2023. 

I will also be adding regular story time videos with members of the Foundation Stage team for your child to enjoy at home over the summer. Watching these together at home and talking to your child about the story not only familiarises them with the members of staff that they will meet when at school, but also promotes a love of reading right from the start of their journey with us at Dobcroft.

Alongside this, I will also add reminders of key dates here up until your child starts with us in September. The first of these is our new parent Welcome Meeting which is scheduled for Wednesday 21st June from 5-6pm in the school hall. At this meeting, you will have a chance to hear from Mrs Rowland, our head teacher and also to meet some of members of staff that will be working with your child in September. 

Another important reminder...if you need to order any uniform you can order this online at www.uniformshoponline.co.uk and click on our
school icon where you will be taken to our school page. Orders will be delivered within 2 weeks of placing your order to school free of charge or if you prefer to your home address but this will incur a delivery charge. Book bags, PE bags and school logo badges can also be purchased from the school office.
