Handwriting and Key Vocabulary

This half term Y1 will be reading 'The Great Explorer'.
The children have made excellent progress with their handwriting during the Autumn term.
Because of this, children will now be writing using handwriting lines during all English lessons.
Please note that Y1 have transitioned to 'whole class' learning ready for the upcoming term. This means that all children will be encouraged to complete work, at their level, simutaneously at tables developing their independence skills.
We have observed that the handwriting lines significantly improves letter formation however it takes some getting used to.
We have attached some handwriting lines and key vocabulary for this half term for the children to practise at home.
