World Book Day in Year 1

Date: 6th Mar 2017 @ 8:28am

In Year 1 we had a brilliant day on World Book Day. We did lots of different activities, all relating to our focus author, Roald Dahl. We invited our families into school during the morning to share our learning with them.

Here are some of the things that they said!

'It was great to see my child doing good work in her classroom.'

'Great opportunity to be in school.'

'Great fun! All the children loved the morning and it was lovely to spend time with them.'

'Very good! Great to see the children in their outfits enjoying the well planned activities.'

'Fantastic! I found a few new Roald Dahl books.'

'Enjoyed it. Good idea to get involved more with the activities with the children.'

'Thank you for such a varied and exciting activity morning. I was impressed with the range of activities available in the different classrooms. You catered for a range of learning styles, interests and abilities. Really enjoyed it!'
